This post is all about the best outfits for a group halloween costume for college students. These outfits are perfect for large and small friend groups and are the perfect fits to match with your friends.
Halloween is just around the corner, and that means going out with friends, dressing up, and taking the BEST group Halloween photos.
But the annual struggle is deciding what to wear and finding fits that everyone looks good in, loves, and most importantly, feels good in.
This college group halloween fits are my favorite picks for this year
#1 – Galactic Cowgirls
This is my top pick for this halloween! It SO cute and you can mix and match with pieces you already own. Everyone can be their own version of a galactic cowgirl in clothes that make them the most comfortable. This is a perfect option for groups who cant decide on one matching outfit to wear for halloween this year.
Not saying you should, because the best outfits are always planned, but this would be easy to pull together last minute should the need be.
Here is a cowgirl hat and a dress from amazon that are perfect to pull together this look.
#2 – Tooth Fairies
This is the cutest matching costume set for any size group of friends! Just grab some wings and matching bath robes and you’re set!
This look is super simple yet flattering and everyone in the group can wear their robes whatever way makes them feel comfertable.
The only thing I would warn is making sure you get a higher quality bath robe for this look – otherwise a cheap bulk might be wrinkly or not as silky and give off a less classy version of this costume than you’re going for. Ew. Sometimes the extra investment is worth it for pictures like this.
Here is a good robe so you can make this look yourself.
#3 – No Cops, All Robbers
This is a super fun costume idea for groups with guys and girls! The guys throw on the funny jumpsuits and the girls can grab matching orange pants and wear a white top they already own. Easy!
These are my favorite amazon finds for this costume.
#4 – Secret Agent
Okay, now this is perfect for college parties.
Sleek, looks sharp, jackets to keep you warm on any walks home you’re taking, and the perfect group theme.
Same as the Galactic Cowgirls fit, you can mix and match with pieces that individually fit everyone the best and with pieces you already own.
I would grab matching black jackets and boots for this fit, but go crazy for everything else!
Here are good options for leather knee high boots.
#5 – Sun, Star, and Moon
Here is my favorite trio costume! Sun, Star, and the Moon!
Everyone can grab a cute sparky dress for this and pair it with a headpiece. If you’re putting this together last minute, you could even skip the headpieces and just find dresses!
Here are great dresses for each of the three, and they compliment each other well 😉
Sun dress, Star dress, Moon dress
#6 – Purge Group
Black boots, black dresses, white pullovers, this group halloween costume has it all. The masks are great cause you can take them off and carry them, then you’re basically wearing normal clothes the rest of the night. No annoying headpieces or anything.
Here is a set of purge masks for everyone.
#7 – NASA Girls
This is a great sorority outfit! Cute and classy and not too revealing. Though with this costume, you’ll probably have to buy every piece of the outfit.
Here are all the pieces you’d need to make this happen.
If you want to go this outfit a little more party girl style, here is some inspo.
Here is the exact costume you need.Â
#8 – Biker Girls
Last but not least, biker girls!
This group halloween costume is adorable and you can dress this up or down as much as you want.
Bonus points if you can find a motorcycle for the photos!
Here are some cute shirts and leather shorts for this look! Both these pieces are great cause you can totally wear them normally after halloween!
Tips for getting the group together
If you’re anything like me, I am not a planner. I find it hard to get the same group who agreed to an idea or adventure together to actually have everyone follow through. A lot of people struggle to actually follow through on plans because of money, lack of organization, lack of communication, and more.
But there are some things you can do to better your chances!
First off, you need to make it a serious plan right from the get go.
If you were to say “hey, lets all be fairies together for halloween this year” if everyone agrees, follow up by saying “great! lets hang out next week and get the stuff for our outfit.”
Be sure to keep in mind everyone’s budget and accommodate where you can. After all, at the end of the day friends and community are the things that really brings value to our lives, not our (although super cute) costumes.
Good luck!
Rachel 😉
